Cameron Barker | Tweed Heads Holistic Health
Cameron Barker

Cameron is a Dry needling practitioner (Level 2), personal trainer (Cert 4 fitness) and Naturopath (B Nat). His passion for health and wellness comes from his own experiences with a connective tissue disorder and chronic pain, which motivates him to keep up to date with the latest research on pain management.

Cameron uses dry needling to target painful muscle trigger points to elicit twitch responses and release tight muscles. This stimulates the natural healing process by helping the nervous system ‘wind down’ which is necessary to treat chronic pain. Patients commonly see him for lower back pain, tension headaches, migraines, postural tightness and stress. However, this therapy helps treat any musculoskeletal issue such as osteoarthritis, disc bulge, whiplash and sciatica.

Cameron’s goal at THHH is to focus on dry needling. However, he will undoubtedly provide naturopathic advice and pain mitigating therapies to help improve treatment outcomes.

Holistic Counselling and Reiki

  • Fearless Birth Sessions
  • Reiki
  • Pre and Post Natal Yoga

TEMPLE Wellness and Yoga is a women centred practice supporting the connection between body and mind to create positive birth and motherhood experiences.

Experiencing the beautiful birth that you desire may take more than the traditional preparations. You may need to do some deep healing to rebuild a sense of inner trust and safety to be able to fully surrender to birth. And once your little one has arrived, you are now faced with the reality of integrating your new identity as mother. This can be a deeply painful process as you grieve what you once had. As our children grow, they become a mirror for our shadows. Difficult emotions can arise as you see the cycles of pain emerging from your past into your present. All of these experiences are so normal, and you are deserving of love and compassion as you heal.

At TEMPLE you are supported through holistic counselling, energy work, and pre and post-natal yoga. It is no small thing to unlearn deeply ingrained beliefs that will constantly be challenged by those around us, but it is worth it. Reclaim Yourself.
